As a Medicaid managed care organization, Colorado Access manages behavioral health benefits for Medicaid enrollees in the Denver metro and surrounding counties. For members whose Medicaid is managed through Colorado Access, ABA therapy is covered as a required Medicaid benefit, and prior authorization is handled through Colorado Access's behavioral health department.
